Pasco County, FL (October 29, 2020) - A woman from St. Petersburg was killed when she was hit by an SUV while crossing U.S. 19 in Pasco County. The crash occurred around 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Flora Avenue.

The SUV was traveling northbound at the time of the crash. The 38-year-old victim was not in a crosswalk or marked area for pedestrians when she was struck by the vehicle. The driver was identified as a 23-year-old woman from Oldsmar. Neither she nor her 31-year-old male passenger were hurt in the accident. The pedestrian's identity has not been revealed at this time and there is no word on whether the driver will face any charges. 

An investigation is underway at this time. No additional details are available.
