Cape Coral, FL (October 31, 2020) - Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hurt in a crash in Cape Coral on Friday night. The accident occurred on Pine Island Road near Santa Barbara Boulevard and Cultural Park Boulevard.
At this time, there is no information on the cause of the accident. The crash caused the eastbound lanes of the roadway to be shut down as authorities investigated at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with serious injuries following the accident. There were no other injuries reported and the pedestrian has not been identified. Drivers were advised to avoid the area and find an alternate route if possible.
