Pinellas Park, FL (November 2, 2020) - A 65-year-old woman from Pinellas Park was killed after being hit by a car on Saturday. The crash happened around 11:00 p.m. on 62nd Avenue North near 45th Street.
The woman, who has not been identified at this time, was crossing the street from north to south when she was hit by a car. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 54-year-old man from St. Petersburg. The female pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not in a crosswalk when the crash happened.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. There is no additional information available at this time.
