Pinellas Park, FL (November 3, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a hit-and-run collision in Pinellas Park on Tuesday night. The accident took place around 7:15 p.m. on 54th Avenue North near St. Petersburg. Troopers arrived at the scene around 7:30 p.m.

According to reports from the scene, there were injuries involved in the crash. There is no information at this time on the condition of the victim or the cause of the accident. Rescue crews also responded to the scene to provide medical aid to the injured victim. There was a roadblock reported at the scene and motorists were advised to find alternate routes of travel.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing. There is no additional information at this time.
