Bonita Springs, FL (November 6, 2020) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash on Interstate 75 in Bonita Springs on Friday. The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the roadway near Bonita Beach Road and exit 116.
According to troopers, there were two vehicles involved in the collision. One of the cars rolled over following the impact. Both drivers were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital via helicopter and both were listed in critical condition. The victims of the accident have not been identified at this time. There is no word on the events leading up to the accident.
Police are investigating the crash and there is no additional information available at this time.
