Immokalee, FL - Several Hurt in Friday Car Accident on East Main Street

Immokalee, FL (November 6, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in Immokalee on Friday, November 6th. The accident took place around 6:45 p.m. on East Main Street near the intersection with 12th Street.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a Collier County Sheriff's Deputy was among the injured victims. The deputy was in an unmarked vehicle at the time of the crash. There were reports of multiple injuries and hospitalizations, but there is no word on the conditions of the victims at this time. Police have not provided any details on the cause of the collision at this time. There was a roadblock in the area after the accident and motorists were advised to use caution.

There is no further information available at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
