Lealman, FL - One Killed, Two Hurt in Car Accident on 49th Street

Lealman, FL (November 7, 2020) - A 91-year-old man from St. Petersburg was killed in a crash that also left two others injured in St. Petersburg on Friday. The crash took place around 2:40 p.m. on 49th Street North.

According to reports, the 91-year-old man was traveling northbound on 49th Street when a car pulled out in front of him, causing the two vehicles to collide. The driver of the second vehicle, an 82-year-old man, sustained serious injuries in the accident. A 63-year-old passenger in the second vehicle was also hospitalized with serious injuries. None of the victims have been identified at this time.

No further information is available. 

There were more than 400,000 reported car accidents in Florida in 2019. Among this number, there were approximately 250,000 injuries reported. A Florida car accident can cause devastating consequences, including debilitating injuries and the loss of loved ones.
