A hit-and-run accident in Florida often leads to serious injuries for victims. Although drivers in our state are legally required to remain at a crash scene, many of them choose not to for various reasons. Last year in our state, there were approximately 105,000 reported hit-and-run accidents, making up about 20% of all reported accidents of all types.
