Miami, FL - Injury Crash with Roadblock on W. Okeechobee Road

Miami, FL (November 13, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol was called to the scene of an injury crash in Miami on Friday evening. The crash was reported around 6:30 p.m. on W. Okeechobee Road near the intersection with NW 79th Avenue.

Troopers arrived at the crash site about 10 minutes after being dispatched. According to an initial report, at least one person was injured as a result of the accident. There is no word on the victim's injuries at this time. A roadblock was reported at the scene as police worked to clear away the crash scene and provide aid to the injured victim. Motorists were advised to use caution as a result of the roadblock.

An investigation is underway at this time. There is no additional information available.
