Hit-and-run accidents continue to be a major issue in Florida. Last year, there were approximately 105,000 hit-and-run crashes reported in our state. This number amounts to about 25% of all reported crashes. A Florida hit-and-run accident can leave victims suffering from serious injuries or can be fatal in the worst-case scenario. Most hit-and-run crashes are caused by driver negligence and these drivers flee the scene aware of the fact that they have caused a serious crash.
