Pinellas County, FL (August 23, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to an injury accident in Pinellas County near Clearwater on Sunday morning, August 23rd. The crash was first reported around 6:18 a.m. at 1133 Melonwood Ave. near Edenwood Street.
According to reports from the scene, at least one person sustained injuries in the accident. The crash caused a roadblock at the scene as police and rescue crews worked to assist the injured victim and clear the roadway. Due to the roadblock, motorists were advised to use caution when traveling near the area and to find alternate routes for their travel if possible. There is no word on the extent of the injuries suffered or the cause of the accident at this time.
