Manatee County, FL (August 22, 2020) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were at the scene of a hit-and-run crash in Manatee County on Saturday, August 22nd. The crash was first reported around 9:15 p.m. on 1st Street near 34th Avenue West.
Troopers responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. Based on reports, the crash was described as a hit-and-run in which at least one person was hurt. The nature and extent of the victim's injuries are not clear at this time. There is no word on the events that led up to the collision and troopers have not released any details on a possible suspect in the crash.
