Pinellas Park, FL - Pedestrian Seriously Hurt in Crash with Police Vehicle

Pinellas Park, FL (November 14, 2020) - A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a crash that took place in Pinellas Park on Thursday, November 12th. The accident took place around 4:15 p.m. on 49th Street.

According to police, the officer was traveling through a parking lot in a marked Chevrolet Tahoe when he stuck a man walking through the parking lot. The pedestrian, who was not identified, was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. The officer was not hurt in the crash. There are no additional details regarding the crash at this time. 

An investigation is ongoing.
