Alachua County, FL (November 15, 2020) - Three people are injured following a head-on crash in Alachua County on Saturday. The accident took place on County Road 231 near 156th Avenue in La Crosse.

The Alachua County Fire Rescue responded to the accident scene. According to officials, two cars were traveling in opposite directions when, for unknown reasons, they collided head-on with each other. There was a total of four people in both vehicles and three victims were taken to a nearby trauma center for treatment. There is no word on the conditions of the injured victims at this time. Police are still investigating the accident but weather conditions, including heavy fog, appear to have played a role.
