Fort Lauderdale, FL (August 19, 2020) - An officer with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department was hurt in a two-car crash on Tuesday, August 18th. The crash happened on State Road 84 near the intersection with Federal Highway.
According to a report from the scene, the officer was responding to a call when his vehicle collided with another car at the intersection of SR 84 and Federal Highway. The officer and the other driver were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Neither party was identified by police and there is no word on exactly what caused the crash to occur.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No additional details are available at this time.
