Naples, FL (August 16, 2020) - Two people suffered serious injuries in a car accident that took place in Naples on Saturday, August 15th. The crash occurred at the intersection of Collier Boulevard and Veronawalk Boulevard.

According to reports from the scene, two vehicles were involved in the accident. There is no word on what led up to the crash. Following the impact, both vehicles jumped over the guardrail before coming to rest in a shallow pond. The two drivers were taken to a local hospital for treatment. No further update regarding their condition is available at this time and their identities have not been released. 

Police continue to investigate the accident. No further information is available at this time.
