There are approximately 400,000 reported traffic accidents in Florida annually. While this number may seem high, it indicates that driving in our state can be a very dangerous activity. Given the prevalence of negligent drivers in Florida, all motorists should use care and caution in order to avoid being involved in an injury crash. However, some crashes happen so quickly that they are simply unavoidable.
Our thoughts are with the injured deputy following this crash in Lee County. We hope for a complete recovery from his injuries.
