St. Lucie County, FL - Two Women Killed in Sunday Crash on I-95

St. Lucie County, FL (November 17, 2020) - Two women were killed in a car accident that took place on Interstate 95 in St. Lucie County on Monday, November 16th. The crash happened on I-95 near mile marker 115 around 9:50 p.m.

According to a report from the scene, a 21-year-old woman from Jupiter was driving a sedan southbound on I-95 when she lost control of her vehicle, causing the car to leave the roadway and strike a tree. The driver and her 19-year-old female passenger were killed in the crash. Neither of the motorists have been identified at this time. There is no word on what caused the accident to occur. 

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the accident at this time. There is no further information available.
