Naples, FL (August 14, 2020) - A man from Arizona was killed in an accident that took place in Naples on Friday, August 13th. The crash happened around 7:45 a.m. on U.S. 41 near the intersection with Immokalee Road.
According to reports, the unidentified man was traveling southbound on U.S. 41 when his vehicle collided with a semi-trailer that was also traveling southbound. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, a 53-year-old man from Cape Coral, was not injured in the accident. The crash caused the intersection to be closed for more than an hour.
The accident remains under investigation at this time. There is no further information available.
