Immokalee, FL (November 18, 2020) - One person was hurt and a man has been charged following a hit-and-run crash in Immokalee. The collision took place around 2:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16th.

According to a report, 41-year-old James McCullough of Fort Myers was driving on State Road 82 near Gator Slough Road when he lost control of his car and struck the side of a vehicle traveling in the opposite lane. McCullough fled the scene after the crash. The driver of the second vehicle sustained cuts to his face and had glass embedded into his skin from a broken mirror. He was taken to a hospital for further treatment. 

Police later located McCullough and charged him with hit-and-run, driving while impaired, and drug possession after finding cocaine in his vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle has not been identified. There is no further information available.
