Union County, FL (November 18, 2020) - A driver was killed after being involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer in Union County on Wednesday morning. The accident took place around 1:45 p.m. along State Road 121 at the intersection of NE 157th Street.

According to authorities, a car was traveling southbound on SR 121 when the vehicle collided head-on with a tractor-trailer that was traveling northbound. The car then veered onto the southbound shoulder and caught fire. The driver sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. His identity has not been released at this time pending family notification. The driver of the truck was not injured in the accident. There is no word regarding the cause of the crash at this time.
