Orange County, NC (November 19, 2020) - Multiple people were transported to the hospital following a car accident in Orange County on Thursday, November 19th. The crash happened on Colonial Drive at the intersection with Avalon Park Drive.

Following the crash, police and rescue crews responded to the scene. According to authorities, three people were taken to ORMC while the others were taken to other area hospitals. Police have not revealed the cause of the crash at this time and the injured victims have not been identified. There is no word on their conditions at this time. Traffic was closed at the intersection while investigators looked into the crash.
