North Fort Myers, FL (November 20, 2020) - A 30-year-old woman from Cape Coral was hurt in a two-car crash that took place in North Fort Myers on Friday, November 19th. The crash happened around 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of Del Prado Boulevard and Barbie Lane.
According to police, a 73-year-old man from North Fort Myers was stopped at the intersection. At the same time, the 30-year-old woman was traveling eastbound on Del Prado when the man began to turn, striking the right side of the woman's vehicle. Both cars spun around before coming to rest on the shoulder of the roadway. The 30-year-old woman was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. There were no additional injuries reported in the accident.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating. There is no additional information available at this time.
