Miami, FL - Three Hospitalized Following Crash on Venetian Causeway

Miami, FL (November 21, 2020) - Three people sustained injuries following a car accident on Friday in Miami. The crash took on the Venetian Causeway.

According to officials, a sedan was traveling westbound along the Causeway when the driver lost control of his vehicle and traveled onto private property. The car continued on and collided with trees, before traveling through a yard and striking a house. The vehicle came to rest in the front yard of the house and later caught on fire, becoming engulfed in flames. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition while two passengers were taken to the Ryder Trauma Center with serious injuries. They are listed in stable condition. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. Police believe that that speed may have played a role in the crash. There are no additional details available.
