Bradenton, FL (August 11, 2020) - A 27-year-old man from Bradenton was killed in a pedestrian crash that took place near Wildwood Professional Park. The crash happened on Tuesday, August 11th around 1:00 a.m.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was walking across State Road 684 near the intersection with 37th Street West when he was hit by an SUV traveling eastbound. Rescue workers arrived at the scene and administered treatment to the man but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been released at this time. The SUV driver was identified only as a 51-year-old man. There is no word at this time on whether he faces any charges in connection with the crash.
