Bradenton, FL (November 27, 2020) - A man suffered serious injuries in a hit-and-run crash that took place in Bradenton on Wednesday, November 25th. The crash was reported around 11:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of U.S. 41.

According to authorities, a man was walking in the bicycle land of the highway when he was hit by a red semi-truck. The semi-truck fled the scene following the crash. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment. There is no word on his condition at this time. The semi-truck was hauling an enclosed white trailer at the time of the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating and is still searching for the suspect.
