Tampa, FL (August 8, 2020) - The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office was called to the scene of a fatal car accident in Tampa on Thursday, August 6th. The crash happened on Ehrlich Road and the intersection with Burrington Drive.

According to reports, the crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the roadway. When deputies arrived, they discovered one person suffering from critical injuries as a result of the crash. The crash victim was later pronounced dead at the scene by rescue officials. The identity of the victim has not been revealed at this time. There is no word on what led up to the accident. The eastbound lanes of Ehrlich Road were closed as investigators worked at the scene. Motorists were told to use caution and find an alternate route if possible.
