Palm Coast, FL - Pedestrian Killed in Saturday Crash on US 1

Palm Coast, FL (November 29, 2020) - A pedestrian was killed in a crash that took place on US 1 in Palm Coast on Saturday. The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. 

According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, the 55-year-old pedestrian was walking near Royal Palms Parkway and tried to cross the road when she was hit by a car traveling southbound on U.S. 1. The woman, who has not been identified, died at the accident scene. The driver, a 33-year-old resident of Palatka, stopped at the scene and cooperated with troopers. The driver was not injured in the accident. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing. No additional details are available at this time.
