Florida ranks at or near the top of national statistics as one of the most dangerous states for pedestrians. Each year, more than 500 people are killed in pedestrian crashes in Florida and thousands more are seriously injured. A Florida pedestrian accident must be closely investigated in order to determine the cause. Many of these crashes are the result of negligent driving behaviors such as speeding, distraction, reckless driving, and impairment.
