LaBelle, FL (August 4, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in LaBelle on Tuesday, August 4th. The crash happened on State Road 80 near Dalton Lane.
The crash took place around 4:00 p.m. The Hendry County Sheriff's Office was also at the scene following the crash. According to officials, at least one person was killed in the accident. There is no word at this time on the cause of the crash or the identity of the deceased victim. Motorists in the area were urged to find alternate routes of travel as police and investigators worked at the crash scene. The road was later cleared and reopened to traffic.
The crash is still under investigation at this time and there is no further information available.
