Miami Gardens, FL - Three Killed, One Hurt in Car Accident on NW 2nd Avenue

Miami Gardens, FL (August 4, 2020) - Two cars were involved in a crash that left three people dead and one hurt in Miami Gardens. The crash took place on Tuesday, August 4th around 12:30 p.m. 

Police responded to the scene at the intersection of NW 2nd Avenue and 204th Street just after the accident took place. According to witnesses, a grey Nissan Altima attempted to make a left turn but drove into the path of a southbound black Mercedes. The Altima driver and two female passengers died at the scene while the Mercedes driver was taken to Aventura Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The deceased victims have not been identified at this time. The crash caused NW 2nd Avenue to be closed for more than five hours while police and investigators worked at the scene. 

An investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time. Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
