West Palm Beach, FL - Anthony Creech Killed in Okeechobee Blvd. Pedestrian Crash

West Palm Beach, FL (December 4, 2020) - Police have identified the pedestrian that was killed in a crash that took place in West Palm Beach on Thursday. The crash was reported around 6:00 p.m. along Okeechobee Boulevard near Spencer Drive.

According to police, 48-year-old Anthony Creech was crossing Okeechobee from north to south when he was hit by a landscaping truck with an attached trailer. Creech was pronounced dead at the accident. The driver of the truck and trailer was identified as 31-year-old Robbins Moralez Vasquez of West Palm Beach. No one else was injured or involved in the accident. 

Police are still investigating at this time and no charges have been filed as of Friday. It has not been determined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident. There is no additional information available.

Fatal pedestrian crashes in Florida take place about two times per day.
