Hillsborough County, FL (December 8, 2020) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries in Hillsborough County on Tuesday, December 8th. The crash happened along Interstate 275 at mile marker 59. The accident took place just after 6:00 p.m. and officials were at the scene around 6:30 p.m.
According to reports, at least one person was hurt in the accident. The victim's identity is not known at this time. There is no word on what led up to the accident. The crash caused a roadblock due to a heavy police presence at the scene. Motorists were advised to use caution and to find alternate routes of travel if possible.
