Lakeland, FL (July 31, 2020) - Multiple vehicles were involved in a deadly crash that took place in Lakeland on Friday, July 31st. The crash happened on interstate 4 near mile marker 32.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at least one person was killed in the crash. Both the east and westbound lanes were closed following the accident as troopers investigated at the scene and cleared away wreckage from the crash. There is no word at this time on the cause of the accident and the identity of the deceased victim is not available. The closed lanes reopened later Friday afternoon.
