Sanford, FL (July 29, 2020) - One person was killed and two were hurt in a crash that took place in Sanford on Tuesday, July 28th. The crash happened on Country Club Road.
According to a report from the crash scene, a 21-year-old man from Sanford was traveling northbound on Country Club Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree before splitting in two. A 19-year-old passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The driver and a 16-year-old passenger were transported by ambulance to Central Florida Regional Hospital with unknown injuries. The victims were not identified and the crash is still under investigation at this time.
