Orange County, FL (July 27, 2020) - One person is dead and another is suffering from serious injuries following a wrong-way crash in Orange County on Monday, July 27th. The crash was reported around 8:50 a.m.
According to troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol, a Nissan Maxima was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes at a high rate of speed. The Maxima collided head-on with the pickup truck. The Maxima driver died at the scene while the other driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. No one involved in the crash was identified. There is no further information available regarding this accident at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
