Florida is home to many people who enjoy riding bicycles. With an accomodating climate, bicyclists enjoy getting out and riding their bikes at any chance they get. Riding a bicycle, however, comes with very clear risks. In 2018, there were over 6,500 reported bicycle accidents in Florida. 148 of these accidents resulted in death and over 6,100 injuries were reported. Many of the injured victims were seriously hurt and required hospitalization. Each Florida bicycle accident is unique and must be closely investigated. It is often the case that these crashes are caused by reckless and negligent drivers who are not paying attention to their surroundings.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and we hope for a complete recovery.
