Citrus County, FL (July 25, 2020) - Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol were dispatched to the scene of a crash in Citrus County on Saturday, July 25th. Officials were first called around 1:00 p.m. and arrived about 15 minutes later.
According to reports, the crash took place on West Norvell Bryant Highway near the intersection with Gulf to Lake Highway. At least one person suffered injuries in the collision. There is no information on the extent of the victim's injuries at this time. Troopers have not said what caused the wreck to occur or how many vehicles may have been involved. There was a roadblock at the scene while police worked to investigate and clear away the wreckage.
An investigation is active at this time. No additional information is available.
