Broward, FL (December 10, 2020) - Police and rescue crews responded to the scene of a serious car accident on Interstate 75 in West Broward on Thursday, December 10th. The crash was first reported at approximately 12:30 p.m. near Mile Marker 45.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the driver of a pickup truck lost control of his vehicle, causing the accident to occur. The truck then flipped several times before coming to rest. Three people were taken from the scene to Broward Medical Center by helicopter. Their conditions are not known at this time. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident. The crash caused both directions of Interstate 75 to shut down for about an hour while rescue workers and investigators were at the scene.
