Gibsonton, FL - Roadblock, Injury Crash Reported Thursday on I-75

Gibsonton, FL (December 10, 2020) - The Florida Highway Patrol was at the scene of an injury accident on I-75 in Gibsonton on Thursday. The crash was reported around 4:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the roadway, near mile marker 250.

According to a report from the scene, at least one person sustained injuries in the accident. The nature and extent of the victim's injuries is not known at this time. Rescue crews responded to the scene to provide aid to the injured victims. The crash resulted in a roadblock as motorists were told to find alternate routes of travel if possible. Police have not released any details on the events leading up to the accident.
