Riverview, FL (December 12, 2020) - A 42-year-old man was killed in a crash between his motorcycle and another vehicle on Friday night in Riverview. The crash occurred around 6:00 p.m. on U.S. 301 near Pleasant Living Park Drive.
According to police, the motorcyclist was riding southbound on U.S. 301. At the same time, a 20-year-old man from Wimauma was traveling northbound on 301. The 20-year-old man tried to make a U-turn at the intersection but drove directly into the path of the motorcycle, causing a collision. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car sustained only minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating at this time. No one involved in the crash has been identified.
