Hudson, FL - Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on US 19

Hudson, FL (July 19, 2020) - A 61-year-old man was killed following a motorcycle accident in Pasco County on Sunday, July 19th. The accident was reported around 10:30 p.m. in the outside lanes of US 19 northbound.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the unidentified motorcyclist was riding his bike northbound when he struck a pickup truck that was stationary in the northbound lanes of the roadway. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and thrown into the pickup truck. Rescue workers arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene from his injuries. The 19-year-old female pickup truck driver was not hurt in the crash. 

The FHP is still investigating the crash. No further details are available.
