Plantation, FL (December 14, 2020) - A 33-year-old man from Coral Springs was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday, December 13th. The collision occurred around 2:30 a.m. on State Road 7 near Northwest 4th Street.

According to a report, 33-year-old David Robinson tried to crash the street when he was hit by a vehicle. Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene by rescue workers. The driver that struck him fled the scene following the crash. Investigators are looking into the accident at this time. There is no further information available.

Pedestrian accidents in Florida claim the lives of about two people each day, or more than 700 fatalities each year.
