Wrong-way collisions are among the most deadly types of Florida car accidents. A wrong-way crash happens in an instant, leaving the other driver little time to react and often resulting in serious injuries, including broken bones, head trauma, neck and spinal cord injuries, and even death. Wrong-way crashes must be closely investigated but are often tied to impairment, distraction, drowsy driving, speeding, or some type of medical episode. In most cases, a wrong-way driver's negligence causes the accident and results in death or serious injuries to innocent victims.
