Lauderhill, FL (December 28, 2020) - One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident that took place on Monday, December 28th in Lauderhill. The crash happened on State Road 7 near the intersection with Northwest 16th Street.
An investigation began when police responded to the scene. According to reports, a vehicle was traveling southbound on SR 7 when the driver tried to make a left turn onto Northwest 16th. As the driver was turning, the vehicle collided with a second vehicle that was traveling northbound on SR 7. One of the drivers died in the crash. It is unclear whether any other injuries were reported at this time. Police believe that speed played a role in the crash.
The identity of the victim is not available at this time and no further details are available.
