Manatee County, FL (July 13, 2020) - Officials responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries in Manatee County on Monday, July 13th. The crash was first reported around 6:25 p.m. 

Troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol arrived just before 7:00 p.m. The accident took place on US 301 near the intersection with I-75. At least one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. There is no word on the victim's condition at this time. The cause of the crash has not been released. 

Police remained on the scene until approximately 8:30 p.m. An investigation is ongoing and no additional details are available at this time.
