Marion County, FL (July 11, 2020) - Two people were killed and three others suffered in injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Friday, July 10th. The crash took place on US 441 in Marion County.
According to reports, three teenagers were driving a pickup truck westbound on County Road 316 when the driver ran a stop sign and entered the intersection with US 441. The truck T-boned a second truck that was traveling southbound on US 441. Both trucks traveled onto the shoulder of US 441 before coming to rest. Two men in the second truck, ages 37 and 54, died at the crash scene. Three teenage occupants of the first truck suffered injuries. One of the teens was critically injured while the other two sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time. No additional details are available.
