Jensen Beach, FL (July 10, 2020) - A bicyclist suffered injuries after being hit by a car in Martin County on Thursday, July 9th. The crash took place around 7:35 p.m. on Jensen Beach Boulevard.

According to a report from the scene, 44-year-old Henry Obert was driving on Jensen Beach Boulevard when hit a bicycle rider. The bicyclist was found lying in the roadway when rescue crews arrived at the scene. The injured victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. His identity has not been released at this time. Following an investigation, Obert was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and causing serious bodily harm to others.
