The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. No additional details have been made available.

Florida has some of the highest numbers in the country for serious car accidents. With more than 250,000 injury crashes reported annually, all drivers should realize the risks of being on the roadway. While every possible precaution should be taken to avoid a crash, some incidents are simply unavoidable. This is due to the fact that many accidents are caused by negligent drivers and happen very suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving behind a trail of destruction.
