Nearly one-fourth of Florida car accidents are hit-and-runs. The total number of hit-and-run accidents in our state rose to about 105,000 last year. This number has continued to increase year after year, suggesting that hit-and-run crashes are becoming a larger problem. Sadly, many hit-and-run collisions leave the victim with serious and life-threatening injuries.
